In the Kozlivska community of Ternopil region, plans are underway to launch a construction materials plant. This was reported by the head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Negoda.
The plant is in the final stages of reconstruction, which began back in 2016. Currently, the facility is over 90% ready.
The plant will specialize in producing standard bricks and ceramic blocks, with a capacity of up to 30 million standard bricks per year. Its products are aimed at the needs of industrial, residential, and agricultural construction.
Once operational, the plant will employ around 50 people. Production will be highly automated, using local raw materials. The main energy source will be gas, although there are plans to consider switching to alternative fuel—pellets.
“This is a strategically important facility for the region’s economy: it will create new jobs, increase budget revenues, and strengthen industrial potential,” Negoda emphasized.
