A new record in Odessa by Andrey Pisarev


The national record of Ukraine soloist of the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Andrey Pisarev was officially registered in the nomination “Most victories of ballet dancers in international competitions” (category “Art”), on the stage of the Odessa Opera House on May 15.


Andrey Pisarev’s record is included in the National Register of Records as an achievement of Ukraine, which is an important criterion for the development of theatrical art in our country. The record was registered on the stage of the opera house after the performance “Don Quixote”.

The Ukrainian classic dancer received 18 prizes and awards at international competitions. Pisarev’s awards include the first Youth American Grand Prix, Korean International Ballet Competition, Istanbul International Ballet Competition and others.

The Committee of the National Register of Records of Ukraine expressed confidence that the new achievement will contribute to the popularization of classical art and talented artists representing the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater at a high professional level.

Andrey Pisarev

Andrey Pisarev was born on April 1, 1986 in Donetsk. He became a ballet dancer and a leading stage master of the Odessa National Opera and Ballet Theater in 2017. Prior to that, he worked at the Donetsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theater as a leading soloist, was a soloist at the National Opera of Ukraine. T. Shevchenko, and also performed at the Moscow Opera.
