In the city of Great Yarmouth (United Kingdom), a ceremonial unveiling of the sculpture "Tightrope Walker" took place — a work by Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Lidahovskyi, who lost his studio in Kyiv due to Russian shelling.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom announced this on Facebook.
The sculpture, created under the conditions of full-scale war, has become not only an art object but also a symbol of strength, dignity, resilience, and hope.
As noted by the diplomatic mission, this event is a significant testament to the growing presence of Ukrainian culture in the public space of the United Kingdom, as well as a symbol of unwavering support and partnership.
“Oleksander Lidagovsky’s creativity is a vivid example of this unbreakable spirit, inspiring and uniting Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world. We wish Oleksander continued success and ever greater artistic achievements! ” the post reads.
