A Ukrainian athlete won the Grand Prix in rhythmic gymnastics and became the absolute champion

Ukrainian gymnasts delivered a triumphant performance at the Grand Prix in Thiais, winning 9 medals. Gymnast Taïsia Onofriichuk became the absolute winner, claiming 5 gold medals.

This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Ukrainian national Olympic team.

The third stage of the Grand Prix in rhythmic gymnastics took place in Thiais, France. Ukraine was represented by three athletes in individual events and a team in the group exercises.

"In total, the Ukrainian gymnasts won 9 medals!" stated the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.  "Taïsia Onofriichuk became the overall winner of the competition, winning gold in the all-around and in each individual event: hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon."

Gymnast Polina Karyka earned a silver medal in the hoop event and two bronze medals in the all-around and clubs.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian team, consisting of Polina Horodnycha, Valeria Peremeta, Kyra Shyrykina, Nadiya Yurina, Oleksandra Yushchak, and Leyla Yusifzade, won a silver medal in the group exercises with 5 ribbons.
