During the night of November 24 (starting from 19:00 on November 23), the Russian forces launched an attack using 162 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (occupied territory of Crimea). More than 80 of them were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, Air Defense Forces shot down/suppressed 125 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
There were 37 UAV strike impacts recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of debris from intercepted drones at one location. The most affected were civilian infrastructure and private households in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties.
