On the night of June 12 (from 10:00 PM on June 11), the Russian forces launched an attack with 63 strike drones of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and Chauda – occupied territory of Crimea.
The main directions of the airstrike were Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, and Odessa region.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 AM, air defense had neutralized 49 Shahed-type drones (plus other types of drones) in the east, south, and north of the country. 28 were shot down by fire weapons, 21 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
Hits from the Russia’s air attack were recorded in 7 locations, with debris from downed drones falling in 4 locations.
