Alexander Nevzorov: There is nothing more pointless in the entire universe than negotiating with Russia

The international community has suddenly sprung into a frenzy. They are rushing around their UN offices clutching folders. Arranging bottles of mineral water. The ladies are desperately powdering their faces.

"Negotiations!" "Negotiations!"

There is nothing more pointless in the entire universe than negotiating with Russia.

Among the most idiotic activities imaginable, negotiations with Russians occupy first place.

To put this into perspective:

On the same list of absurdities, teaching a spitting cobra (Naja sputatrix) to operate a quarry bulldozer ranks only ninth — eight places below the prospect of reaching agreements with Russians.

The fact is that there is not a single international treaty that the Russians have not violated in the most shameless manner.

They break agreements, pacts and conventions whenever it suits them, or simply because they can afford to.

Violating international treaties is Russia's rule. It tears them up even when it knows perfectly well that it will immediately face severe consequences.

It violates them. Always.

The treaties of Amsterdam, Narva, Stolbovo, Toruń, and countless others — Russia has always remained true to itself.

Even the Warsaw Pact, which the Soviet Union imposed on other countries, was violated by the USSR approximately 193 times.

Having signed up to "peace" and "comprehensive cooperation", having promised eternal love and devotion, the Russians would suddenly roll in with their tanks, destroy everything, burn it down and turn the place into the kind of rubbish heap so dear to their hearts.

Europe's pompous dignitaries seem unaware of this particular characteristic of the Russian Federation, which is why they take the possibility of "reaching an agreement" with a cannibal state so seriously.
