Ukrainian hospitals and medical educational institutions will receive 56 high-capacity generators (64-220 kW each), all of which have been procured through collaboration between the Ministry of Health and the World Bank.

The generators will be distributed to medical facilities in the Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Ternopil, Rivne, and Cherkasy regions, as well as the city of Kyiv.

These generators are capable of ensuring the full and uninterrupted operation of medical institutions during various critical situations. They will automatically activate in the event of a power outage, supplying voltage to the network. This ensures the continuous operation of operating rooms, intensive care units, and critical equipment, ultimately saving lives and preserving the health of patients.

In total, medical institutions will have 10,016 generators for uninterrupted operation in case of emergencies.

It's also worth noting that as part of the joint project between the Ministry of Health and the World Bank, facilitated through the international organization "Crown Agents," an additional 467 generators will be distributed to the regions. These generators are being delivered according to the specific needs of each region.
