According to the political scientist, defeating the Russian Federation in the war has already captured the mass of the generals and the top leadership of Russia.

Political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky, who lives in Washington, said there are 27 private military companies in Russia today. According to him, they are created in the Russian Federation to fight for the huge economic legacy that will remain after the defeat of Russia.

"Today, there are 27 PMCs in Russia. The question is, why are they needed? They are not needed for the war with Ukraine. The fact is that the people who organize these PMCs already see themselves in another, next war. Understanding that the war with Ukraine already lost, they are lining up for the next mafia war between various groups for the huge economic legacy that will remain after the defeat of Russia and the inevitable exit of Putin’s group,” Piontkovsky said on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

The political scientist predicts that these private military companies will begin competing for large Russian property chunks.

"For the same Krasnoyarsk Nickel, aluminum, Norilsk Nickel. For this, these criminal formations are created. In fact, the idea of defeat has already captured the mass of the generals and top leadership of the Russian Federation. We are absolutely confident in Ukraine's victory," Piontkovsky said.

At the same time, a former deputy of the Russian State Duma, Russian opposition politician Dmitry Gudkov noted that the Russian power structures began to build up forces, and more and more private military companies were created in the country. The Russian elites are preparing to fight for the post of the head of Russia after the departure of Vladimir Putin.
