"Aquaculture is an important part of food security. Its development is another step within the Ministry of Agrarian Policy's policy of import substitution. Our goal is to ensure that products purchased by government institutions in Ukraine are produced domestically," Minister Koval commented.
He added that aquaculture today provides over 50% of global fish production.
