Russia is trying to make up for the loss of combat strength. Therefore it is mobilizing reservists. In particular, even military pensioners receive a summons to the draft board.

Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, explained that Russia could draft 50,000 military personnel within a month.

The adviser to the head of the OP expressed his opinion in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin on Tuesday, May 3.

According to the politician, these will already be much weaker units than those that the Russian Federation had at the beginning of a full-scale invasion.

"They can collect even 50 thousand within two months. But the quality … These are not the units that were here from the beginning. This is much less than a combat-ready group. Conscripts will be added there, most likely. There will be no combat coordination. But they will receive a military mass, it will be armed: they will have tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles," Arestovich emphasized.

The politician added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine defeated the elite units when they were less prepared. Therefore, the new units of the Russian Federation will not be able to achieve anything and will be defeated.

"They will attack heroically. They can try to attack Kyiv, for example. It's just that their fate is the same. We crushed the elite divisions, being worse prepared and armed than now. We will get an army that did not fight here, but we do. The result - plus 10 thousand dead of the Russian soldiers. This cycle will be repeated as long as the Putin regime agrees to repeat it," Arestovich commented.
