This was announced by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Sergei Gaiday in Telegram.

At the same time, according to him, the Russian invaders tried to break through in the direction of Belogorovka, but the Ukrainian military repulsed all their attacks.

Also, the Russians continue to shoot with rocket artillery houses in the de-occupied villages, where the local population remains. The vast majority are elderly people.

"Among the 17 people who remained in Belogorovka, there was an elderly man and a daughter who looked after him - it was they who died from a Russian shell the other day," Gaiday said.

In addition, he stressed that de jure in the so-called "LPR", which is the Russian occupation administration, the city of Popasnaya no longer exists.

The Ukrainian military continues their counteroffensive and liberates our land from the occupiers. According to the General Staff, in the areas of two settlements in the Lugansk region, up to 60 Russian invaders were recently destroyed, at least 10 of which were officers.

Earlier it became known that to replenish the composition of Russian private military companies, another batch of prisoners from Russia was brought to Stanytsia Luganskaya, and "law enforcement officers" were forbidden to touch them in case of violations. In the temporarily occupied Khrustalny settlement of the Luhansk region, "mobile groups" detain and deliver all men to the military registration and enlistment office.

In addition, according to the head of the Luhansk military administration, Sergei Gaiday, the total superiority of the Russians in artillery in this area ended due to the destruction of the logistics for the supply of ammunition. He noted that before that, for four months, the Armed Forces of Ukraine felt the total advantage of the Russians in artillery, and shelling continued around the clock.
