The Prosecutor's Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the missile attack on Odessa region on November 28, under the charge of violating the laws and customs of war.
This was reported by the Odessa City Council.
According to the investigation, on the morning of November 28, the Russian armed forces launched a missile attack on Odessa and the surrounding region. The type and number of missiles are being determined.
As a result of the attack, three local residents were injured, including a 16-year-old boy and a 90-year-old woman. Both suffered abrasions and lacerations. The injured received medical assistance on-site and did not require hospitalization.
At least 18 private houses, a gas pipeline, utility buildings, and vehicles were damaged in the Odessa district.
In one of the districts of Odessa, a garage was damaged and a fire broke out.
The site examination is ongoing, and a full list of damages is being established. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the Russian armed aggression at the scene.
