In Odessa, as a result of the Russian strike drone type "Shahed" hitting a residential building, it is already known that one person has been killed.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.
The official noted that the man's body is currently being extricated by emergency and rescue services personnel.
"As a result of the Russian attack on Odessa, one man was killed. His body is currently being extricated from the rubble," the statement said.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration expressed sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased.
It was previously reported that emergency responders extracted another injured person from the rubble, after which the woman in serious condition was hospitalized. Before that, two injured individuals were known.
The official added that the rescued woman spent about two hours under the rubble.
In the Odessa City Council, it was clarified that as a result of the "Shahed" attacks, a single-story residential building in the Primorsky district of the city was destroyed.
"Rescuers extracted the body of one deceased from the rubble. Three injured individuals were transported to one of the city hospitals," the statement said.
The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, in an interview on the national telethon "Yedini Novyny," spoke about the condition of the victims. According to the official, three wounded individuals are in critical condition.
A woman born in 1962 has 70% of her body covered in burns and is in severe burn shock, her daughter born in 1993 also suffered severe burns on 10% of her body surface and multiple bone fractures, another injured woman, aged 72, who spent almost two hours under the rubble, sustained thermal burns covering 40% of her body surface and fractures of her limbs.
