Sister Lucia, head of the Santa Clara Monastery Foundation (Spain), assured the border guards about this.
Recently she visited the Western Regional Office of the State Border Service. During the visit, the philanthropist presented the book "3000 kilometers of social action" to the border guards. The publication contains information and photos that reflect the assistance provided to Ukraine by a team of philanthropists from the CaixaBank Volunteer Association, the Ambassadors of Peace Association, and the Santa Clara Monastery Foundation.
In his turn, the head of the administration, Major General Victor Babiuk, thanked Sister Lucia and the entire Spanish community for the invaluable help they provide to the Ukrainian people and, in particular, to the border agency in the fight for the Freedom and Independence of Ukraine. A commemorative picture was presented to the Spanish guest as a sign of respect and gratitude.
During the meeting, Viktor Babiyk also told sister Lucia about the main tasks performed by the guards of the western frontiers, including in the areas of hostilities, about their achievements in the confrontation with the enemy. In addition, they discussed the issue of further cooperation and the possibility of providing the necessary assistance and decided on the needs of Ukrainian border guards. The philanthropist assured the head of the administration that the Spanish community would continue to help the Ukrainian people and would make every possible effort for the victory of Ukraine.
We will remind that thanks to the efforts of the Santa Clara Monastery Foundation, the "CaixaBank Volunteers Association" and the "Messengers of Peace" Association, the State Border Service of Ukraine received more than 60 vehicles, more than 50 of which are for medical purposes, as well as tons of medical drugs and equipment. The treatment and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers in medical facilities in Spain were organized.
Sincere thanks to the Spanish people!
