The Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov.

The parties focused on the situation in the Ukrainian energy sector in light of massive russian missile attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.

German Galushchenko emphasized that the energy system of Ukraine had suffered damage as a result of the shelling on November 23. Power engineers are making every effort to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore power supply, especially to critical infrastructure and the population.

At the same time, the scale of destruction is quite significant, so the assistance of international partners who provide materials and equipment for the restoration works is very important.

The parties agreed to cooperate to assist the Ukrainian energy sector, particularly in the supply of electrical equipment.
