Border guards at the moment do not observe any increase in Russian forces at the border with the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

The Head of the State Border Guard Service, Serhiy Deineko, visited the positions of the Kharkiv Border Guard Unit, the "Pomsta" and "Stalevyi Kordon" Guards Brigades, and the commandant's office of the rapid response unit of the Volyn Border Guard Unit. During the visit, Deineko discussed the situation in the responsibility zone and interaction with the components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the unit leaders. Additionally, the agency's chief inspected the work on enhancing engineering and fortification structures.

Military personnel noted that the Russian forces continues assault actions on the front line with the involvement of equipment, but Ukrainian defenders are providing a worthy response. At the same time, there is currently no observed buildup of forces on the border with the Russian Federation.

"Border units heroically fight on the front lines and defend our state border. Border guards are true warriors who, alongside other Ukrainian defenders, make an invaluable contribution to our freedom," Deineko emphasized.

The head of the border agency thanked the defenders for their work and presented them with state and departmental awards.
