In Odessa, in the courtyard of the Lutheran Cathedral of St. Paul, or simply called Kircha, the Christmas fair traditionally started. This year it came out not as large-scale as before, but there is definitely something to see.
At the very entrance you can buy various pastries and hot aromatic mulled wine. A little further, they offer to taste real Munich and Bavarian sausages with stewed cabbage, cooked right on the spot. As a dessert, you can take lollipops, gingerbreads in the form of New Year's characters and traditional German cakes.
At the fair, you can choose from books, knitted blankets and jewelry. Closer to Catholic Christmas, concerts will be held in the church, but master classes this year should not be expected.
There is also a traditional scene in the Stable. True, instead of Maria and Joseph of a very young look, fashionable mannequins wrapped in stylized clothes.
The fair will run daily until December 27 until 22:00.
