The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy supported bills No. 7466 and No. 7468. After finalizing and adopting these bills, it will be possible to submit a declaration for customs clearance of a car and make all payments in Diia. In a few clicks and according to the new system.

Together with the State Customs Service and with the support of partners, we are actively working on the digitalization of the customs sphere. The first stage involves the development of a legislative framework that regulates the customs clearance process of cars under the new system. The day before, we collected feedback from Ukrainians regarding the new calculation formula. More than 90% noted the changes as positive.

According to the reform of the customs sphere, the calculation of the customs clearance price will take place only according to the fixed characteristics of the car: the year of manufacture of the car, the type of engine, its volume, and exclusivity. Unlike the active formula, the cost of the car will not be taken into account.

In addition, it is planned that it will be possible to clear customs in Diia. In the application, you can enter car data, automatically calculate the cost of customs clearance,pay and pass customs control faster. In this way, it minimizes the human factor to avoid possible corruption schemes at customs.
