In the village of Molodizhne in the Kherson community, Russian anti-personnel mines of the “Pryanyk” type were found on one of the streets.

This was reported on Facebook by the Kherson region police.

“Attention residents of Molodizhne! Information about mining is currently being received. Anti-personnel mines of the ‘Pryanyk’ (‘Plyushka’) type have been found on Belyaev Street,” the statement says.

Law enforcement urged residents not to move through the specified area, as the mined territory may be more extensive.

“Pryanyk” is a new Russian anti-personnel mine. These munitions pose a deadly danger to civilians because they are small in size, about 5–6 cm in diameter (twice as small as the “Pelyustka” mine), are difficult to spot on roads or in grass, and contain about 30 grams of plastic explosive.
