A drone violated Moldova's airspace overnight on 4 November amid large-scale Russian attacks against Ukraine.

This was reported by NewsMaker, citing Moldova's Ministry of Defence.

According to the Moldovan National Army, the drone entered the country's airspace at 04:23 from the direction of Zahnitkiv village in Ukraine's Odessa region and headed towards the town of Camenca in Transnistria.

The drone left Moldovan airspace at 04:25 near the village of Vărăncău in Soroca district, heading towards Ukraine's Vinnytsia region.

Moldova's Ministry of Defence stated that its Air Operations Centre continues to monitor the country's airspace in coordination with the relevant authorities and international partners.

The Ministry of Defence previously reported that Moldova's airspace had been violated 19 times in October, with six drones crashing and exploding on the country's territory. The ministry emphasised that these incidents occurred against the backdrop of Russia's continued intensive attacks on Ukraine.
