Danilov: Ukrainian offensive phase of the war begins in 2023
Ukraine should receive Bradley, Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Bastion armored personnel carriers, AMX-10 RC armored vehicles, Patriot complexes and more.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that in 2023 the Ukrainian offensive stage of the war in the liberation of the lands occupied by Russian troops begins.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, with the words “believe in Ukraine,” told how the world was changing its attitude towards the Ukrainian war for independence – from partisan movement to victory. In particular, in January 2022, it was about waging a guerrilla war. In this regard, NLAW hand-held anti-tank missile systems, Javelin portable anti-tank missile systems, and Stinger missile systems arrived in Ukraine.
Danilov noted that in June, Western partners began to talk about a defense-counteroffensive war. In particular, Ukraine started to to receive HIMARS increased mobility artillery and missile systems, M777 howitzers, Harpoon missiles, GMLRS shells (they can be fired at a distance of up to 80 km), Excalibur shells, Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers, IRIS-T air defense systems, CAESAR howitzers, self-propelled howitzers AHS Krab.
At the same time, as Danilov notes, 2023 will be characterized by an offensive war. Ukraine should receive Bradley and Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Bastion armored personnel carriers, AMX-10 RC armored vehicles, Patriot air defense systems batteries.
“And many other things are less public and not public at all,” Danilov said.
Also, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said that the next – fourth – stage of the war will concern “justice and retribution.” He added that the development of Ukraine’s missile and drone programs would be carried out in the future.
