The situation near Pokrovsk has improved recently. It has been stabilized, and Ukrainian forces are improving their positions.
This was stated by Roman Pogorily, co-founder and analyst of the Deep State platform, in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.
According to him, the situation in the Pokrovsk area has changed for the better—it has stabilized, and the Defense Forces are gradually improving their tactical positions.
'We are even seeing the appearance of 'blue' zones, and work is underway to expand these areas,' he noted.
Ukrainian forces are actively working to complicate the Russian logistics, which is already yielding visible results.
'This is reflected on the battlefield map and even in the photos published by the Russians,' Pogorily said, emphasizing that the Russian forces are forced to use horses, donkeys, and motorized plows to transport resources.
Due to worsened supply lines, Russian troops are having difficulties with rotations, evacuating the wounded, and delivering ammunition. However, according to the analyst, Russia continues its assault actions due to its significant human resources. Particularly intense fighting is taking place in the Pishchane area, as it is a crucial point for Russian logistics, which Ukrainian forces are disrupting with their control.
Despite the Russia's efforts, their attempts to regain lost positions are not succeeding.
'The intensity of the fighting and enemy advances have decreased. They are trying to accumulate forces for assaults, but they are not quite succeeding, and that’s very good,' Pogorily concluded.
Recently, the Russian army has been trying to break through the defense on the Pokrovsk direction. For the Russians, this section is one of the most challenging parts of the front.
