Russian forces have advanced into the built-up area of Kostiantynivka in Ukraine's Donetsk region, according to the OSINT monitoring project DeepState.
"Russian forces have advanced in Kostiantynivka," the project reported on its Telegram channel on Wednesday.
According to DeepState's maps, Russian troops have consolidated their positions in the north-western part of the city, advancing from the neighbouring village of Illinivka and establishing control over territory previously classified as a contested "grey zone".
Over the past 24 hours, the area under Russian control increased by 0.98 square kilometres, while the contested grey zone decreased by the same amount.
No changes were recorded on other sections of the frontline during the reporting period.
