The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of a Tu-134 military transport aircraft in Russia.
According to the statement on Main Intelligence Directorate Telegram channel, on the night of October 13, a Tu-134 belonging to the 117th Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces was destroyed in a fire.
"A devastating fire broke out at the Russian military airfield "Orenburg-2," where a Tu-134 aircraft was stationed. These Soviet-era planes are notably used for transporting senior officials of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense emphasized that every crime against the Ukrainian people will be properly avenged."
