The authorities of the so-called "LPR" do not pay compensation to the families of those killed and wounded during the war with Ukraine. To this end, medical workers distort the diagnoses of the wounded in every possible way. After the treatment of injuries and contusions, the People's Liberation Army soldiers receive statements indicating "osteochondrosis", "ulcers" or other diseases that do not involve compensatory payments.
This causes a sharp sense of injustice on the part of the local population of the "LPR", despite the growing propaganda from the Russian Federation.
Given the irreparable losses of the 2nd Army Corps of the RF Armed Forces (it is there that the "mobilized" from the territory of the "LPR" serve), the situation regarding the support and perception of the local population of the war and further mobilization is significantly reduced.
On May 16-17, spontaneous protests of wives and relatives of those forcibly "mobilized" for the war against Ukraine took place in Luhansk. Such actions were recorded near the military prosecutor's office and military enlistment offices in Luhansk and Rovenky. The main demand of the protesters is to return the mobilized home. The total number of participants is about 700 people.
