Forced deportation of the civilian population will continue in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Andriy Yusov, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, stated this on the air of the national telethon.
"The war waged by the Russian state, Putin, and the Russian people themselves, who support this war, is a genocidal war. The destruction, dispersal, deportation, and ultimately Russification of the civilian population, the destruction of Ukrainian identity, is one of the goals of this war. Unfortunately, we will continue to see forced deportations from temporarily occupied territories, crimes against the civilian population, war crimes, and the banning of Ukrainian identity. This is all that Putin has been implementing for a year in the occupied territories and will try to implement in the future. This is something that the world should understand very clearly - it is the genocide of the Ukrainian people. An attempt to destroy not only the Ukrainian state, but also the nation itself," emphasized the representative of military intelligence of Ukraine.
Also, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that even though the enemy remains strong and numerous, the Russian army's occupation of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions is unrealistic.
