Russia has deployed a general to the frontline in the Kursk region following complaints from North Korean military personnel about inadequate food supplies.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence.
According to intelligence, dissatisfaction has grown among North Korean army servicemen stationed in the Kursk region due to insufficient rations.
“To address the issue with the hungry North Koreans, Russia sent Major General Mevlutov, the Deputy Commander for Resource Support of the Leningrad Military District, to the fields of Kursk,” Main Directorate of Intelligence stated.
Intelligence reports indicate that the Russian general ordered individual rations from the food supplies of the 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces to be distributed to the North Korean soldiers.
Servicemen from the 92nd and 94th Special Operations Brigades of the North Korean army are being placed under the operational command of Russian military units involved in combat in the Kursk region. These units include the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 810th Separate Marine Brigade, and the 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade.
