This is evidenced by the methods of fire damage, the form of formation of battle formations, the echeloning of enemy troops, and continuous offensive operations in certain directions," he said.
The most significant activity of the occupiers is observed in the direction of Izyum - Barvenkovo, in the area of ​​​​the junction railway station "Popasnaya", the Severodonetsk urbanized area, the city of Mariupol and on the section of the Zaporizhzhia - Donetsk road.
Earlier it became known that the Russian army is currently completing the regrouping of troops and is trying in all directions to determine the most vulnerable places of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to launch a large-scale offensive and consolidate its success, primarily in the Donetsk operational area.
Russia has publicly stated that during the "second phase" of the war against Ukraine, it plans to occupy the Donbass and southern Ukraine completely. Control over the Donbass will allow creation a land corridor to the occupied Crimea and "influence the vital facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
