Donald Tusk: Polish intelligence services have arrested nine suspects in sabotage activities in favor of Russia

In Poland, the special services have detained and arrested nine individuals suspected of direct involvement in sabotage activities in the country in favor of Russia.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, as reported by TVN24 and Gazetaprawna.pl.

"We currently have nine suspects arrested and accused of direct participation in acts of sabotage in Poland at the request of Russian services," said the head of the Polish government on Monday during a television interview.

Responding to journalists' questions about sabotage in Poland, Tusk emphasized that the matter is "very serious."

He noted that the situation concerns several European countries, including Poland itself, as well as Lithuania and Latvia. Additionally, similar signals are coming from Sweden, the official added.

Tusk specified that the arrested suspects are accused of "assaults, arson, and attempts to set fires."

He also spoke about regional cooperation and the effectiveness of services in combating sabotage within the country.

The Polish Prime Minister emphasized that the state is acting on this issue, consulting with neighbors and allies.

"I am really satisfied with the effectiveness of our services at the moment," said Tusk.
