The European Parliament elections are under threat of Russian interference. Polish intelligence agencies already have this information.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, according to Polskie Radio.
According to him, during a meeting of the European Union Council, the issue of Russia's preparation for interference in the electoral process ahead of the European Parliament elections was discussed.
"This is not the first such case, but each time the scale becomes increasingly larger and more alarming. Both from allied and Polish sources, we know that Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and to some extent Finland are under the greatest threat of interference and direct actions," he said.
Detailed information on this matter was provided by the coordinator of Polish intelligence agencies, Tomasz Siemoniak.
Russian agents are attempting to influence voters' decisions in the upcoming European Parliament elections. Various forms of propaganda and attempts to bribe European officials are being used for this purpose. The European Parliament elections in Poland will take place on June 9th.
