Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Farmak has become a strategic investor in healthtech startup Tayra AI, which develops artificial intelligence solutions to automate medical facility operations.

According to Farmak’s press release, Tayra AI has successfully completed a pre-seed investment round with participation from Farmak and several angel investors from the company’s management team. The companies did not disclose the amount of the investment.

The funds will be used to develop the product, expand the team and support international growth.

Tayra AI provides AI-powered medical assistant services for corporate clients, including integration with medical information systems and clinic customization, as well as directly for doctors through its website with pricing based on usage time.

The startup is currently developing a digital AI assistant for healthcare providers that automates a significant part of medical documentation work. During consultations, the system analyzes doctor–patient conversations and helps automatically generate medical records, reducing the time spent on administrative tasks.

“We believe the future of healthcare lies in digital solutions. By automating routine processes, healthcare professionals can spend less time on paperwork and more time caring for patients. It is equally important for us to support teams with the potential to create globally competitive products while strengthening Ukraine’s technology ecosystem,” commented Serhii Bryzhytskyi, Project Management Manager at Farmak.

In the future, Tayra AI plans to create a comprehensive AI platform for medical information systems that will support the entire doctor–patient interaction cycle.

Farmak is a global pharmaceutical company founded in Ukraine in 1925. In 2025, it remained the leader among Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies in retail sales, with sales reaching nearly UAH 10.978 billion. Exports accounted for 26% of Farmak’s total sales, with medicines supplied to more than 60 countries worldwide.
