In 2023, the national football team of Ukraine finished in 22nd position in the FIFA ranking. This marks the fourth-best result in the team's history.

For the twelfth consecutive time, Ukraine started the new year in the top 50, and for the sixth consecutive time, we are in the top 30 of the world's best teams.

It's worth noting that Ukraine has the best performance in the last ten years.

The record result for the year was achieved in 2006 when the Ukrainian national team, led by Oleg Blokhin, who is currently the co-chair of the committee for national teams and the council for the strategic development of professional football at the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF), secured the 13th position in the rankings.

At one point in the monthly ranking, Ukraine even held the 11th position (from February to May 2007).

It should be mentioned that the next FIFA ranking will be published on February 15.
