At the press conference in the Radio Hub of the Suspilne Academy was announced the list of finalists of the National selection for participation in Eurovision-2022.

We listened carefully to all 284 applications sent to us. We allowed the contestants to participate in the auditions from a long list because physical presence is a significant factor in the selection. Many of our ideas about artists do not coincide with their current form. Or, conversely, some songs were already with the formed picture and listening slightly changed our first impressions.

The longlist was easy to form, especially since we did not limit ourselves to the number of participants. The longlist includes everyone we considered worthy to participate in the National Selection and potentially those who can represent Ukraine and will be able to get to the Eurovision final, which is our task at least.

The final of the National Selection for Eurovision-2022 will take place in the format of a television concert on February 12 at 19:00 live on the public TV channel UA: FIRST. The hosts will be Timur Myroshnychenko and Maria Efrosinina.
