In the Carpathian region, a project called "Museum on a Smartphone" is being implemented. On the request of the Department of International Cooperation and Eurointegration of the Ivan-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, the company Skeiron has digitized five museum heritage sites of Ivano-Frankivsk. This was reported by Ivano-Frankivsk Tourism.
Virtual tours of exhibitions have been created for five museums in the Carpathian region:
- A separate exhibition for the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Ethnographic Museum.
- The Rogatyn Historical and Ethnographic Museum "Opillia."
- Separate exhibitions for the Museum of the History of the City of Kolomyia.
- "Halychyna Mohyla" in the village of Krylos.
- The Kosiv Museum of Folk Art and Life of the Hutsul Region.
Additionally, digital products will be enhanced with audio and video guides to increase their interactivity and educational value.
