European countries have announced the possible relaunch of flights no earlier than June 15 and the Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said international and domestic air traffic will be likely resumed then.
Air traffic, including international flights, will probably resume in June... but reopening airports in Ukraine without flying anywhere is not a resumption. We need to see which countries will resume air travel. The closest date when European countries have announced the possible relaunch of flights is no earlier than June 15, i.e. before that it is not clear if there are destinations to fly to.

Shmyhal also said commuter services in Ukraine would resume from May 22. Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister, said that no full-fledged resumption of international air traffic was expected in summer. Anyway, some airlines like Czech Airlines, Ryaniar and Wizzair, have already announced they are ready to restart their connections with Ukraine.
At the same time Odessa's hotels are offering very competitive tariffs to save their international tourists flow in summertime.
âToday, the average price in three- and four-star hotels is Hr 650 per day ($24) in Odessa. This is an unprecedented low rate over the past 20 years. In the same period in 2019, such a room cost at least twice as much and was three times more expensive in 2013,â said Arthur Lupashko, founder of Ribas Hotels Group.
