The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck the capacities of the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Russia’s Orenburg region.

"In order to reduce the enemy’s offensive potential and complicate fuel and ammunition supply to Russian forces, on November 11, Ukrainian Defense Forces units hit the capacities of the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orenburg region, Russia. The refinery produces over 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, and oils. Its design capacity is 6.6 million tons of crude oil per year. The facility is used to supply the Russian occupying army," the General Staff stated on its Telegram channel.

Explosions and a fire were recorded at the site. Preliminary information indicates that one of the primary oil processing units (AVT) was hit. The full results of the strike are being confirmed.

Earlier on Tuesday, reports emerged of strikes on several critical Russian facilities and in occupied territories, including the Saratov oil refinery and the Feodosia Morskoy Neftyanoi Terminal. Additionally, Ukrainian forces reportedly struck a Russian logistical depot in Donetsk and concentrated Russian personnel near Ocheretino in Donetsk region.
