During the day, there were 56 combat engagements, and Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 Russian attacks on the Avdiivka direction, according to the General Staff's report for January 11.

The Russian forces conducted three air strikes and carried out 16 shelling incidents with reactive volley fire systems on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and civilian settlements.

"As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage," emphasizes the General Staff.

Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka (Kharkiv region), where the Russian forces made unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove (Kharkiv region).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 assaults near Makiivka (Luhansk region) and east of Terny (Donetsk region), where theRussian forces made attempts to improve their tactical situation. The Russian forces fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk region), Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk region).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 1 attack in the vicinity of Klishchiyivka (Donetsk region). More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, New York (Donetsk region). 

Avdiivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and 16 more attacks in the vicinities of Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk region), where the Russian forces made unsuccessful attempts to improve their tactical situation. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Novokalynove, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske (Donetsk region).

Mariinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinities of Heorhiyivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk region). In that area, the adversary made 10 attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maksymilyanivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka were under artillery and mortar fire of the Russian forces.

Shakhtarske axis: the adversary conducted no offensives. The adversary fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske (Donetsk region).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 assaults west of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia region). In that area the Russians made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground. Around 20 settlements, including Levadne, Malynivka Hulyaipole, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia region), came under artillery and mortar fire.

Odessa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: the adversary fired artillery at the city of Kherson, the settlements of Beryslav, Stanislav (Kherson region), as well as Solonchaky (Mykolaiv region). Also, the Russian forces launched MLRS strikes in the vicinities of the settlements of Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Krynky, Veletenske (Kherson region).

The Russian forces do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the Russian forces made 3 unsuccessful assaults. The Ukrainian troops are holding the line and keep inflicting significant losses on the Russian army.

During the day of January 11, the Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 2 concentrations of troops of the Russian forces. 

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 2 concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 1 command post, 1 ammunition depot of the Russian army.
