German robotics developer ARX Robotics opens office in Ukraine and becomes a resident of Diia.City. The company's upcoming plans include relocating part of its production processes and research to Ukraine.
ARX Robotics designs autonomous modular unmanned ground systems and advanced digital solutions used in both military and commercial sectors. The company has developed 12 different types of robots, and its GEREON RCS system will soon assist the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front lines.
GEREON RCS is a multifunctional tracked modular platform. It delivers supplies—such as food or ammunition—and evacuates the wounded, helping to save soldiers' lives in the most dangerous parts of the front.
The platform is already in service with the armed forces of Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and has been deployed in NATO missions on the eastern flank in Lithuania and Slovakia. In February, 30 units of this technology were also delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Residency in Diia.City will allow the company to operate under the most favorable tax conditions, attract Ukrainian specialists, and accelerate the development of production and research capabilities. Last year, the company secured funding from NATO for robot development, and now it will be able to scale further with the tools provided by Diia.City," said Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
