Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda stated that if the West stops supporting Ukraine, the likelihood of Russian aggression against NATO member countries will increase.

According to Delfi, Nauseda believes that the situation depends on how events unfold in Ukraine.

"If Russia fails to turn everything in its favor, it will, of course, get stuck there for a long time and won't be able to fight on multiple fronts. If everything is different, and the West suddenly turns away from Ukraine, doesn't provide the necessary assistance... Yes, then it could happen, but the probability of such a scenario is low," Nauseda said, commenting on Russia's threats against NATO.

The Lithuanian president added that "no one has an answer to when Russia's behavior may change and when it might turn towards NATO."
