Two Global Ocean Link (GOL) warehouses have started operations at the TIS terminal, as reported by the company.
The GOL warehouses allow for the storage, transshipment, and handling of grain, fertilizers, and any moisture-sensitive cargo directly at the terminal.
The total capacity of the facilities is 25,000 tons (11.5 and 13.5 thousand tons, respectively). There are two vehicle entrances and three railway tracks. The throughput capacity is up to 200 vehicles and 50 railcars per day.
Key infrastructure features include:
- The ability to store moisture-sensitive cargo, as the warehouses are covered;
- The possibility to stack grain into containers, optimizing the transshipment process;
- Modern equipment, including five STS cranes in line, allowing for simultaneous processing of three vessels.
The offices of the Global Ocean Link group of companies are located in Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania. In Ukraine, the company has a presence in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Vinnytsia.
