Russia has destroyed or damaged more than 2,500 medical facility sites, while 703 have been fully restored.
This was reported by the Ministry of Health on Facebook.
“As of January 1, 2026, damage or destruction has been confirmed at 2,551 sites belonging to 817 healthcare institutions. In particular, enemy actions have completely destroyed 327 sites that are part of 125 healthcare facilities. The greatest damage has been sustained by medical facilities in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions,” the statement reads.
According to the Ministry, 703 medical facility sites have been fully restored, and another 325 partially restored. Sixty-five sites that had previously been rebuilt were damaged again — mostly facilities in de-occupied territories or those that had suffered minor damage initially.
Medical care continues to be provided at 1,546 sites, while another 185 are operating partially. A total of 233 facilities have been evacuated to other premises.
The Ministry notes that information about medical facilities in temporarily occupied territories is currently limited due to a lack of confirmed data.
In addition, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 283 emergency medical vehicles have been destroyed, 171 damaged, and 80 seized by the Russian forces.
