Poland detected a violation of its airspace by an unidentified object during the latest mass attack by Russian terrorists on Ukraine.

This information was reported by the press service of the operational command of the Armed Forces of Poland.

"In the morning hours, an unidentified airborne object entered the airspace of the Republic of Poland from the border with Ukraine. From the moment of crossing the border until the disappearance of the signal, it was observed by the radar systems of the country's air defense system," the press service wrote.

According to current procedures, the operational commander of the Armed Forces mobilized available forces and assets in response.

Yuriy Ignat mentioned that airspace violations during massive Russian attacks are not something new. He recalled an incident a few months ago when one of the terrorists' UAVs fell on Romanian territory. Similar incidents have occurred on Polish territory as well.

"As a result of massive attacks, this can happen. The enemy attacks the border areas to the west (of Ukraine), so this is possible. This is another signal to our partners to strengthen Ukraine with the necessary air defense assets, making us a shield between the aggressor and Europe. Protect ourselves and protect them," noted the Air Force spokesman.
