At least nine Shaheds flew into Belarus in July. One exploded, and another disappeared.
This was reported by the monitoring group Belaruski Hajun.
"Throughout July, Russian UAVs of the 'Shahed-131/136' type repeatedly entered Belarusian airspace, launched as part of missile strikes on Ukrainian territory," the report says.
From July 11 to 31, nine drones entered Belarus, specifically:
• One exploded and fell in Belarus.
• Seven flew back to Ukraine.
• The fate of one remains unknown.
According to the monitoring group, most of them—seven out of nine—returned to Ukraine, while others penetrated deeper into Belarus.
"One drone that entered Belarus on the night of July 13 traveled over 350 km to Vitebsk and then disappeared; its further fate and location are unknown. Another 'Shahed,' the fourth in sequence, flew over Belarus on July 16 for more than 400 km and exploded, falling in the Oktyabrsky district of the Gomel region," adds Hajun.
In July, Russian drones used in attacks on Ukraine first began to enter Belarus.
