In the Kharkiv direction, near the village of Hlyboke, Russian forces used drones to remotely plant anti-personnel mines along the movement routes of Ukrainian Defense Forces personnel at night.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group on Telegram.
"The operational situation in the Kharkiv direction remains challenging. Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the pressure of Russian troops. In the area of Hlyboke, the enemy carried out remote mining with anti-personnel mines along the routes used by Ukrainian personnel during the night, using drones," the statement reads.
Additionally, the presence of the Akhmat units has been noted near Lukyantsi. In the Starytsia area, the Russian forces continues engineering activities, installing new defensive barriers, and providing logistical support.
In Vovchansk, the Russian troops intensified aerial reconnaissance to locate Ukrainian Defense units and sporadically moved personnel to replenish their losses. Engineering works have also been observed, with tunnels being constructed for concealed movement between neighboring buildings.
According to the press service, there were three combat engagements in the past day. Russian forces carried out two airstrikes using three guided aerial bombs (GABs) and two missile strikes. They also launched 54 kamikaze drone attacks and conducted 356 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions.
Russian losses in the past 24 hours amounted to 136 personnel, including 52 killed and 84 wounded. Russian forces also lost or had 84 units of military equipment damaged in the area.
