Today, April 20, Russian forces shelled Odessa. As a result of the attack, a three-year-old child was wounded.
This was reported by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"The enemy continues to terrorize the civilian population. As a result of another rocket strike on Odessa, fires broke out in the private sector. Residential buildings were destroyed, one of which contained a woman with a child. They were rescued," the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration reported.
According to Kiper, it is currently known that two adults suffered minor injuries and refused hospitalization. A three-year-old child was also injured in the attack and has been hospitalized.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the Russians used guided aviation missiles X-59 for the strike. They were launched from an aircraft of tactical aviation from the Black Sea's waters.
As a result of the falling debris from the downed missiles, a fire broke out. Firefighters promptly extinguished it.
