In Poland, the body of one of the wealthiest businessmen in the country, the honorary consul of Ukraine in Rzeszów, Jerzy Krzanowski, was found. The body was discovered by a rescuer with a dog, as reported by RMF.

54-year-old Jerzy Krzanowski went for a walk in shorts and a T-shirt from his home in the village of Krosno Wyszne in the Koroszczyn commune of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship and did not return. The man's relatives reported him missing to the police.

A report of the disappearance of the 54-year-old resident of Krosno Wyszne was received by the police on June 6 in the afternoon. Police officers, firefighters, rescuers with dogs, and drones with thermal imagers participated in the search.

The search continued until late at night when rescuers discovered the man's body. The identity of the deceased was confirmed. The body was sent for autopsy.

Książkowski was one of the richest people in Poland. In 2021, together with his brother, he ranked 57th on the list of the hundred richest Poles according to Forbes magazine. The family assets of the Książkowski brothers in 2021 were estimated at 1.213 billion zlotys.
