In Ternopil, the death toll from the Russian shelling has risen to 31. Rescuers recovered three more bodies from the rubble.
The head of the Ternopil police, Serhiy Zyubenko, reported that during the debris removal, the bodies of a mother and two children were found.
On the morning of November 19, Russians attacked Ternopil with strike drones and missiles. Two residential high-rise buildings in the city were hit.
The mayor of Ternopil, Serhiy Nadal, reported on Facebook:
“Considered missing: 10 people (including 1 child),” Nadal wrote.
