The Parliament of the Netherlands has suspended the voting rights of three MPs from the pro-Russian party. This was reported by the page of the lower house of the Dutch parliament.
The affected Mps are Thierry Baudet, Gideon van Meijeren, and Freek Jansen, according to information from the lower house of the Dutch parliament.
"The three MPs from FVD (Forum for Democracy) have been excluded from participating in House of Representatives sessions for seven days starting from Wednesday, December 20, with the exception of voting," the announcement stated.
The MPs were suspended because they failed to declare other positions they hold, thus violating the code of conduct. Consequently, due to their refusal to disclose their additional positions, party leader Baudet and its members Jansen and van Meijeren will be unable to speak during debates for seven days while retaining the right to participate in voting.
The majority of deputies agreed with this measure proposed by the special investigative council of the parliament.
