Two brands, PASKAL and Have A Rest, have joined forces in a unique aesthetic collaboration to create a capsule collection of travel accessories that marry practicality with poetic design. Inspired by PASKAL’s signature six-petaled flower motif, the collection features two bag models and a versatile cosmetic organizer designed for the modern traveler.
“Our clients seek products with character — items that are both emotional and functional,” says Alina Dolinina, founder of Have A Rest. “Working with PASKAL allowed us to blend utility with gentle, feminine aesthetics.”
The centerpiece of the collection is a spacious black bag, meticulously handmade from 175 hexagonal pieces arranged like a soccer ball. It includes thoughtful details such as external straps for carrying a yoga mat, an inner pocket for organization, and a matching cosmetic bag. The bag’s geometric precision paired with soft, flowing lines creates a modern silhouette suited for travel, city strolls, or workouts.
“We wanted to maintain PASKAL’s trademark dreamy feel while introducing laser-cut details within a functional framework. Striking that balance was our key design challenge,” explains Yulia Paskal.
The second bag is a lightweight sports mesh design reminiscent of a “flower cloud.” The pink version is crafted from leftover Japanese fabric from PASKAL’s SS18 collection, while a classic black option is also available. This bag complements Have A Rest’s suitcases and, thanks to its standout look, can serve as a bold statement piece for any outfit.
The collaboration’s story is brought to life through a visual campaign shot in Odessa under the creative direction of Anna Goncharova.
